Our Driving Evaluations
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, participant-centered and evidence-based consultation with the goal of creating a transportation plan that maximizes community mobility and provides the optimal fit of person, environment and available resources.
This comprehensive driving evaluation is a two-part evaluation including:
Clinical Occupational Therapy Evaluation
Assesses cognition, vision, motor and sensory processing skills.
Takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours to complete.

On-Road Evaluation
Completed by a Licensed Driving Instructor
*if indicated, based on results of clinical OT evaluation*
Takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Important information about our program:

We require a physician order for Occupational Therapy Driving Evaluation
-
We do not file insurance
-
The cost for the Occupational Therapy clinical evaluation is $400
-
The cost for the on-road evaluation is $150
-
This program is targeted towards individuals with medical conditions impacting fitness to drive
-
Those with complex medical conditions requiring specialized driver training and/or specialized adaptive equipment, will be referred to appropriate specialists
-
If driving cessation is recommended, participant and family counseling is provided to determine optimal alternative transportation options
-
Full report will be provided to referring physician or others as requested
